Jessica Hanson grew up in Bend, Oregon.  Jessica comes from a big, tight-knit family, with her parents Dave and Diane, her sister Heidi, and two brothers Dan and Mike.  She has recently graduated with a Masters of Education in Teaching and Learning with a minor in Special Education. 

 

Chris Wells comes up in Woodburn, Oregon.  Chris grew up with his parents, Dan and Ruth, and his sister Meagan.  Chris He recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership, a Masters of Science in Special Education. 

 

Jessica and Chris met at the University of Oregon working in the dorms.  When Chris went to first introduce himself to Jessica, it was late at night and she was moving into her new room.  While attempting to open a door, Chris sprung up to introduce himself.  Unfortunately, Chris startled Jessica, but he still got to shake her hand and learn her name. 

 

A couple of weeks later, following movies and talking until four in the morning by the waterfall on campus--Chris and Jessica began dating on September 28th, 2001 (at 11:42 at night).  After three years of dating, Chris finally proposed to Jessica on September 26th, 2004--almost three years today.  

 

Following the wedding, Chris and Jessica will be moving to Cottage Grove, Oregon where they have bought a new house.
